The New, New,
New
Nation

The Gettysburg Address of Abraham Lincoln is an admonition and
warning to what he calls “a new nation” having yet an even newer "birth
of freedom".
Instead of a mere short speech to be mentioned, memorized and recited
as a poem in schoolastic history classes, the the nation's first legal
and defining document is a living, working policy specifically designed
to serve as giroscope to obtain and maintain that "new birth of freedom
under GOD", whereby the government of this republican democracy of, by,
for the people thereof "...will not perish from the earth."
Lincoln stipulates, however,
that such "a new birth" can only occur after the sacred mandates of the
Declaration are not rebelled against, but rather obeyed by the
citizenry of these Several United States of America.
America’s triple newness was/is based on the following
observations:
First “New”, is the fact that the United States of
America was a newly establish geo-political entity among the
contemporary, European nations during the season of 1776;
Second “New”, America’s governing process of a first ever
republican-democracy is unique in all recorded world history;
• A significant portion for the uniqueness that sets the United States
apart from all other nations in world history including those that are
Judaic-Christian, is that it places ultimate power into the hands
(voting) of the governed people themselves. “…governments are instituted
among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”
• Only the United States, has brought to the world the new experience of
a democratic, voting, peoples’ republic, the very polar opposite of

Third “New”, and most significant portion by of which
the United States uniquely consist, is the fundamental principles that
are outlined in the Declaration of Independence, which are in the Name
and/or Character of the Central Figure thereof, for the
defending and promulgating human equality in matters of governance.
Other governments throughout history have been self-serving monarchies,
whereas the "rebellious" - un-natural United States offers an unusual
proposition to the world by its' bold Declaration against such
governance stating that rulers must govern "...in the name and by the
authority of the good people of these colonies..." and "That to secure
these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just
powers from the consent of the governed."
In order to bulster their action of rebellion, the founding fathers
claimed the special protection granted by "...the Supreme Judge of the
world for the rectitude of our intentions" to demonstrate the
proposition that “…all men are created equal and are endowed by their
Creator with certain inalienable rights…” due to "a firm reliance on the
protection of Divine Providence."
In the annals of world history, such a philosophy and policy of
government is aberrational, heretical, out of place, absurd, rebellious
and contrary to the natural flow of human behavior n the matters of
governance; and therefore for good reasons doomed to failure.
Hence, the American Ideal or Dream is but an experiment in governance.
Thomas Jefferson, the favorite mentor of Lincoln his more famous
protégé`, understood this unique, exceptional quality of the United
States, which was later tested by the Confederate States Rebellion to
the Constitution, the enforcer of the ideals of the nations’ first legal

That in mind, Lincoln admonishes "we the living" Americans that Union's
success of the physical war itself would not be the end of the matter
over which it was being waged, but rather, greater tests will follow
until GOD is vindicated in the matter of chattel slavery in HIS Name in
the land of “life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.”
Lincoln notes on November 19,1863, at the Gettysburg dedication of the
national cemetery there, “Now we are engaged in a great civil war,
testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so
dedicated, can long endure.”
Yet, either courageously or foolishly, implicating GOD into the venture,
the founding fathers established America to defy, not only England’s the
natural order of monarchial government that human beings are
traditionally used to, but all such ruler-ship on earth.
This published declaration charges their Posterity with the daunting
task of perfecting the Union by making the just wholeness of humanity
its’ highest moral objective as a new nation on this continent and in
the world.
The Un-Natural Act of Libery and Love
The willingness of certain key Americans (one dominant, White-Caucasian,
immigrant heritage race) to shed their own blood in civil conflict over
the existence of (the minority, Black-Negro), chattel slaves, is a clear
indication that the Posterity of this triple-new nation must as those of
the Civil War, be willing to suffer for the moral, national cause,
regardless of the pain.
In this Judaic-Christian based society, our Holy Scriptures teaches by
Jesus Christ the Only Monarch to Whom Chritian Ameicans bow, "Greater
love has no man than this, but that he lay his life down for his
friends"
Such a feat of moral correctness has never been done by any race or
civilization in the history of the world, thereby ranking the We the
People of the United States almost in a league of its’ own when it comes
to this matter of equal justice for all within the jurisdiction of the
State.
In fact, the United States is embouyed with the extraordinary virtue of
championing the cause of liberty from tyranny throughout the earth,
making it the first, non-monarchial, Judeo-Christian nation in the
history of the western world to do so. Policman of the world?!?
A Nation With A Divine Purpose - Exceptional
The other portion is that of the new, new nation’s moral fabric, being
one that is unlike any other all of history, secured its’ destiny in the
fate of a chattel enslaved people as the model for all humanity to
emulate.
In other words, the founding fathers tied the destiny of the free
immigrant populations of America with that of the chattel slaves.
As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. correctly observed, "...for many of our
white brothers...have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with
our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom."
Lincoln, like Jefferson, understood that such an aberrational government
of, by and for any nations’ citizens, especially ones that espouse such
platitudes of virtue as proclaimed in the Declaration, could survive
only by Divine favor or providence.
Both these two gentlemen Patriots of separate generations mirroring each
other, realized that Divine Providence would come from the Judge of all
the world, based on the new nation’s compliance “to that cause” for
which the war was being waged.
A New Nation Dedicated To The Cause of A New Birth of Freedom
In doing so, we cause GOD to grant this new geo-political entity “new
birth of freedom”, without which, the government that the founding
fathers bequeathed their Posterity will cease to exist.
“It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining
before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to
that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that
we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain --
that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and
that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not
perish from the earth.”
Hence, new, new, new nation – New for the time in which it was
established in 1776 until 1863. New, in the historical sense of being
totally different and opposite of and from traditional form of
monarchial rule.
New, in that the well-being of humanity is the central priority of its
business with GOD.
While the "new" is established in contemporary time and world history as
a reality, the “new birth of freedom” has not yet manifested, lest the
nation would not presently be on verge of destruction.
